Went to JB for 1 day tour. Finally have the time to enjoy the 1 day tour. =) Joined my aunt's school's family day tour with her. It was really enjoyable and seen many things ba.
1st stop - Local coffeeshop at own expenses
After immigration clearance, we stopover at the local coffee shop for breakfast at own expenses. We ordered dim-sum and total it cost RM8.90 for 4 dishes plus 1 big char siew bao. Haha it was really very nice lo. After breakfast, we shopped at the shop next to the coffee shop. I bought myself 2 boxes of bubblegums...Ooo nice!!
2nd stop - Ostrich Farm
Next we took a pretty long journey to our next destination - Ostrich Farm. Wow, we were welcomed by the strench of ostrich. Haha!! The smell was kind of strong but still bearable la. Saw lots of ostriches and they were all very tall and ugly for some la. Haha!!! Saw their eggs and i try stepping on the eggs. Haha!! It didn't break leh...the eggs can hold up to 100kg. Did you know that 1 ostrich egg is equalivent to 24 chicken eggs?!?! Haha alot man!! And their egg shell is really thick man. Pretty durable and unbreakable. Also tried Ostrich dried meat..mmm quite ok but dun like the feeling of eating it la. Feel so weird when eating that. Aiyo!!! Lots of products by Ostriches but eek...dun really like it la..sorry!! Next~
3rd stop - Desaru Fruit Farm
Before heading to the Desaru fruit farm, we had lunch over at the local seafood resturant. Haha we had mini lobster and chilli crab. I love the fishball soup alot. The fishball was very QQ lo. Like it alot!!
Visited the fruit farm and had the in-house guide to guide us throughout the tour in the fruit farm. He is Dean, our in-house guide. He is really very nice. He explained every single things in details. He even taught us tips on how to choose fruits and how to store them. I was shocked that we are not supposed to keep them in fridge coz their enyzmes would be lost and all absorbed by the fridge. Wahaha!!! And also watermelon can be a cooling and also a heaty fruit, it all depends on the surrounding weather n climate. Wah!!! Alot to learn from him.
4th - Straits of Johor viewing firefly
Went to Kota Tinggi and had dinner at another seafood resturant. Mmmm i would prefer the dinner though there wasn't lobster. It was really sumptuous and simple. Like it, thumbs up!! =)
After dinner, we proceed to the jetty to have a bost ride along the Straits of Johor to view firefly. Lucky the weather was good if not that had to be cancelled. The boat ride was pretty long and it took a while for us to see the fireflies. And i almost fell asleep lo...OOps!! Hahaha!!! Anyway the fireflies were all very nice lo. Saw them on the trees and it really look like a christmas tree. Haha at that moment i still thought that it was christmas. Wahaha!! =) After viewing back to coach to head home sweet home.
5th - Home Sweet Home
Lastly up to coach and head back home. Journey to custom takes around an hour plus la, and at custom was really flooded with people lo. Hhaha!! Reached S'pore ard 10 plus and home at 11pm plus.
Anyway, i really had a great time at JB with my aunt. Shall go for another similar tour ba =) Photos shall be put up in later dates. sorry =)
