I had just finished my night duty and it was an experience for me. I would say that it was a chaotic night for me.

I was the in charge for i cubicle with 6 patients but on my first night, there were only 3 patients in there. Which means during my night, i will be admitting 3 patients. Oh no!!! Admission was still ok for me. Then i assisted the on-call dr with blood culture and plug setting. We spend more than 1/2 hour for 1 patient. It was really very hard as the child was very fretful and she struggle alot. It was very difficult to do it but in the end we managed to do so with the help of the on-call medical officer. Later on, 2 more patients to go and we finished at around 3am. Aiyo!!! 3 am then i settled down for a break and looking through my reports. Phew!!

Not only that, some patients were crying all the way. Parents not around so push them out to counter to look after. Cry cry cry..haha really had a hard time settling them down. *-*!!!

2nd night was better. Though there were admission over my side. Things are much more settled unlike the 1st night lo. Haiz...irene now on annual leave. Gonna miss her le. Come back to work quickly la =) Haha...
